LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — There’s more progress on the high-speed rail project connecting Las Vegas to Southern California.

Starting Thursday, there will be some lane changes in the valley. Crews will begin infrastructure improvements along Las Vegas Boulevard at Robindale Road.

According to a press release, they will remove the center median, install a box culvert, and realign the sewer line to support the future station.

Starting Oct. 27, officials say southbound lanes will be reduced to two lanes on Las Vegas Boulevard near Robindale. That is expected to last for at least three weeks.
