N.C. State basketball’s 2025-26 schedule is set, with the Wolfpack set to pay $540,000 to six nonconference teams, according to documents obtained by the USA TODAY Network through a public records request.
Entering its debut season under coach Will Wade , the Wolfpack will pay between $80,000 and $100,000 to its out-of-conference opponents in the regular season.
N.C. State tips off the regular and "red reckoning" era under Wade on Nov. 3 against N.C. Central, which will receive $90,000 in guaranteed compensation. Considered “buy games,” UAB (Nov. 7), UNC Greensboro and UNC Asheville (Dec. 6) will also get $90,000 for coming to Raleigh. Liberty (Dec. 10) will receive $80,000.
