NEW DELHI, Oct 21: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed the nation in a Deepavali letter, highlighting the successes of Operation Sindoor, the fight against Naxalism, and asserting that Bharat has become a symbol of stability amid global crises.

In his message, Modi said the nation has not only upheld righteousness but also avenged injustice through Operation Sindoor, describing it as a living example of the courage to combat wrongdoing. He noted that for the first time, lamps will be lit in many districts, including remote areas, where Naxalism and Maoist terrorism have been eradicated, with former extremists joining the mainstream.
