The name Eileen Collins is making headlines today, as the trailblazing astronaut is being put at the centre of a new documentary. While many of us won't know her name, the space commander made cosmic history back in 1995 as the first woman to pilot a space shuttle. ‌

Unfortunately for Scots, Spacewoman is only being shown in cinemas in the south of England this week, and the former astronaut is to partake in exclusive Q&A sessions after some screenings. It has not yet been announced when the documentary, which is based on Eileen's memoir, Through the Glass Ceiling and to the Stars, may be available for streaming. ‌
