A Monroe non-profit, the Philbeck Foundation , is looking to help struggling families have a good Thanksgiving meal.

On Monday, Nov. 24, at The McIntyre at 13910 Lake Dr., volunteers with the foundation will be giving out holiday meal boxes, which include turkey, ham, sides, and desserts.

"Because we want to ensure that the quality is there and that we're not just giving everyone a mediocre meal, but we really want it to be a special meal and something of good quality, because that's what these people deserve," said Philbeck Foundation director Reagan Philbeck.
