ANN ARBOR, Mich. — With four winnable games on deck for Michigan football, head coach Sherrone Moore is doing his best to keep his team ready.
The Wolverines are 14-point favorites in their Saturday clash with in-state rival Michigan State (7:30 p.m., NBC), and are expected to be favored in their next three: A home game against 2-5 Purdue, road trip to Chicago’s Wrigley Field to play 5-2 Northwestern, and road game at 4-3 Maryland. If all goes according to plan, Michigan could be 9-2 for its regular-season finale against Ohio State, a pivotal game for the team’s playoff hopes.
But before they get there, Moore is preaching urgency inside Schembechler Hall — “in everything that we do.”
