NORFOLK, Va. (WWBT) - Former President Barack Obama will join Democratic gubernatorial candidate Abigail Spanberger at a campaign rally in Norfolk on Saturday, November 1.

The event will mark the first campaign visit to Hampton Roads by any Democratic president since Obama campaigned in the region in 2012.

Obama endorsed Spanberger for governor last week.
