Days after he endorsed Abigail Spanberger to be Virginia’s next governor, the democratic nominee’s campaign announced former President Barack Obama is joining her for an upcoming rally in Norfolk.

The rally, the location of which has not been announced, will be held Nov. 1, just days before Election Day. The Spanberger campaign said the rally will “make clear the stakes” for upcoming voters.

Obama last campaigned in Hampton Roads in 2012, when he visited Virginia Beach and Hampton , among other local stops that year.
