DES LACS, N.D. (KMOT) - Des Lacs-Burlington football went 7-2 in the regular season, the fifth time the program has won seven games or more in the last 10 years.
The Lakers improved from a fourth-place finish in Region 3 last year to a third-place finish, setting up a first-round date with seventh-seeded Dickinson Trinity.
“We just stepped up in a big way. We had a lot of seniors [last year], we had to fill the gaps, fill the shoes of them. I feel like we’ve done a pretty good job,” said Kyler Fisher, senior quarterback/cornerback.
