JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-1 tornado touched down Sunday in Jessamine County.
NWS officials conducted the damage survey at an R.J. Corman Railroad building off U.S. 27. The National Weather Service said the tornado started as a “cold air funnel” that briefly touched the ground.
No workers were in the building at the time of the tornado. No one was hurt.
Jessamine County Emergency Management reported additional damage to trees, power lines and another building.
Power has been restored to most people who lost it during the storm.
