FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) A month-long investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department ended Monday with the arrest of a woman who allegedly sold 10 grams of fentanyl to an undercover officer.

When police took Alexis Springer into custody, they found 18.1 grams of methamphetamine, 3.9 grams of fentanyl, and 1.6 grams of cocaine according to a press release issued by the department Tuesday.

The release also noted that Springer was enrolled in the Allen County Drug Court at the time of her arrest. The drug court is intended to rehabilitate offenders.

Springer faces preliminary charges related to dealing narcotics and possession of drugs.
