Faith calls me to rally for my neighbors
To the Editor:
I dusted off my clerical collar to attend a rally as a visible disciple of Jesus who taught us to love our neighbor and what that looks like.
As a very woke pastor aware of the inequities and needless suffering of others, I believe in the diversity that makes our nation unique and great. I believe in the need for all to have equal access to opportunity and that everyone has a right to be included in the prosperity of our nation (diversity, equity and inclusion).
I am called by my faith to rally for my neighbors — the hardworking immigrants seeking safety for themselves and their families, the LGBT+ community, the Black, the brown and every color in between, those with addictions beyond their control, the mothers and fathers who wo
