Netflix isn't recreating the all-time success of KPop Demon Hunters anytime soon, but the streamer's newest fantasy animation is still becoming a hit. Phil Johnston, Todd Demong, and Katie Shanahan's The Twits , based on famed children's author Roald Dahl's 1980 book of the same name, has become notably popular on Netflix since its release on October 17, climbing the streaming charts.
The Twits revolves around the antics of Mr. and Mrs. Twit (Johnny Vegas and Margo Martindale), inspiring a pair of orphans and a band of magical animals to work together to save their city from the Twits. The Twits features an all-star cast, including Natalie Portman, Emilia Clarke, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Ryan Lopez, Jason Mantzoukas, Timothy Simons, Alan Tudyk, and Nicole Byer.
