KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Andrew Worrall, a former director at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, has been charged with child sex crimes, according to federal court documents obtained by WVLT. Court documents said he messaged with minors and even gave a 17-year-old girl instructions on how to send him explicit videos.

The investigation into Worrall, who is 54, is outlined in a criminal complaint filed in federal court on Oct. 3 by a special agent with the Department of Energy. Although a spokesperson for ORNL has confirmed Worrall no longer works at the labs, the complaint said he was working there at the time of the investigation, and his LinkedIn account claims he was a nuclear energy programs
