A man was knocked to the floor and robbed outside a city centre shop , Derbyshire police have reported. The victim, a man aged in his 60s, was approached by a man and a woman outside Derby Fresh Food on Burton Road between 2am and 3.30am on Friday, October 17.

The couple were initially friendly but then the man attacked him, knocking the victim to the floor before stealing his wallet. The suspect has been described as a man, aged in his 30s, who was about 5ft 7ins tall, with dark hair and stubble.

He is said to have been wearing all black clothing. The woman who was with him is also said to be aged in her 30s, about 5ft 4ins tall and with long black hair.
