ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A beloved Abilene bakery will be back in business soon after closing two years ago.

McKay's Bakery is going to now be called Moli McKay's Bakery Café and will be located at 2534 S. 7th Street, which is the old Natural Foods building.

The social media post announcing the reopening says this McKay's will be the "same heart, fresh chapter". The owners say they plan to bring back, "the beloved McKay’s recipes you know and love—thumbprints and harvest muffins included (daily, of course!)—plus a few new favorites to surprise you."

Customers are already celebrating the return, expressing excitement for the chance to get their favorites and tagging all of their friends on social media.
