MUSKEGON – The Michigan high school cross country regionals are just a few days away, and runners from across the Muskegon area are in a prime position to secure a spot in state finals races on Nov. 1 at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn.

Last week, conference championship meets pushed many local runners to new personal-best times, including several new names to the area leaderboard.
