A 34-year-old sergeant of the U.S. Army has died following a training accident in Germany. Now, he’s being remembered as an exemplary leader.
On Saturday, Oct. 18, Sgt. Terell Seales was wounded during a vehicle accident at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Bavaria, the Army said in a news release .
The 34-year-old, who hailed from Florence, N.J., was a motor transport operator assigned to the 2nd Mobile Brigade Combat Team (Strike), 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). He died of his injuries, the Army said.
The Army did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’
