Canadian officials are targeting American tariffs in a new ad campaign featuring a surprising voice.

CBC reports Ontario is spending $75 million on commercials aimed at Republican voters in the U.S. The spots began airing on Newsmax and Bloomberg last week, and are now being shown on Fox News, Fox Sports, NBC, CBS, CNBC, ESPN and ABC, as well as local affiliates and stations run by Comcast, Spectrum and Sinclair Broadcast Group .

“When someone says ‘Let’s impose tariffs on foreign imports,’ it looks like they’re doing the patriotic thing by protecting American products and jobs. And sometimes for a short while it works, but only for a short time,” the voice says as scenes of families and workers are shown.

At the end of the ad, the voice is revealed to be former President Ronald Reag
