Drivers traveling in the area of the Route 222 and Route 30 interchange improvement project in Lancaster County should be aware of work there one night this week.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said there will be various lane restrictions from 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, through 6 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24. The restrictions will be on both northbound and southbound Route 222 and eastbound and westbound Route 30.

PennDOT said all pavement markings will be refreshed during that time frame, weather permitting. And, traffic will be shifted to new pavement constructed in the highway median.

Various lane closures will occur in each direction on both Route 222 between Route 30 and the Landis Valley Road overpass, and on Route 30 between the Lititz Pike and New Holland Avenue.
