LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - Police continue to search for a man who they say shot a teen in a Lufkin parking lot, and have released a surveillance video of the incident in hopes of finding a suspect.

According to the Lufkin Police Department, shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday morning, officers responding to a shooting call found a teen who had been shot in the stomach in the parking lot of a dance club in the 700 block of South Timberland Drive.

Officers treated the teen’s stomach wound until EMS arrived and took him to the hospital. According to police, He was in stable condition when he was flown to a Houston hospital by helicopter around 3 a.m.

According to the LPD, detectives reviewed video from a neighboring business that showed a truck pull into the dance club’s parking lot and a man exit
