Oklahoma City is officially on the countdown to the 2028 Olympic Games — fewer than 1,000 days away — and residents are already embracing the excitement.
The city is set to host multiple Olympic events, including canoe slalom and softball. Canoe slalom is scheduled for July 14–22, and softball will run July 23–29.

On Saturday, several Olympic athletes, organizers and local leaders gathered in Oklahoma City for the LA28 Day of Sport.
