BLOOMINGTON — Indiana released the details of football coach Curt Cignetti's new contract on Tuesday afternoon that calls for him to make $11.15 million in the first year of the eight-year deal that was agreed upon last week.

The contract bumps up what he would owe the university if he were to leave for another job to $15 million. There are also a series of clauses in the contract that guarantees IU commits significant annual resources for retaining staff and players.
