A UKIP march in Rochester was vastly outnumbered by counter-protesters in a town centre on Saturday (October 18).
Just over a dozen UKIP supporters, including KCC councillor Amelia Randall, marched down Rochester High Street in opposition to the government and illegal immigration.
However, they came up against some opposition and were eventually diverted from their planned route by a much larger Medway Stand Up to Racism counter-demonstration at the Northgate junction.
The march had been organised by Roger Hogg, who has arranged other similar events elsewhere in the county, who led chants of "Stop the boats, send them home".
