Plans have now been submitted for 90 homes near a Kent railway station, but with no affordable housing. The new estate for Sandhurst Road in High Brooms in Tunbridge Wells would have three flat blocks along with terraced homes, and 114 parking spaces.

It would be built on the former former High Brooms Gas Works, which is a short walk from High Brooms railway station. As KentLive reported in July , the developer behind the scheme for the 4.2 acres site is J Murphy and Sons Ltd.

It has just submitted a planning application to Tunbridge Wells Borough Council , with home sizes being one, two and three bedroom.
