A 16-year-old Guelph boy is facing an assault charge after another boy suffered injuries in a fight earlier this month.
Guelph police said on Oct. 1, just before 1 p.m., several callers reported a fight in a park behind the Bullfrog Mall on Eramosa Road. Two boys were fighting when a third stepped in and punched one of the them in the face.
A 14-year-old from Guelph was taken to hospital, suffering a broken nose and concussion.
The 16-year-old was charged with assault causing bodily harm and will appear in court in November.
