RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Officials with Arkansas Tech University introduced a new public sculpture, “Two Houses (And a Space)”.
The 12-foot sculpture, created by artist Anders Nienstaedt, has been installed near North Glenwood Avenue on the west side of the ATU campus, drawing attention from students and visitors using the Russellville Connected Trail System, officials said. • Anders Nienstaedt • Two Houses (And a Space)
Nienstaedt, who served as the Windgate Foundation artist in residence at Arkansas Tech during spring 2025, returned to campus on Oct. 20, to give a lecture and lead a site visit at the sculpture’s location. He worked on the sculpture for six months, including 10-to-12-hour days during the final two months, and said the installation allows visitors to experience his work
