CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) -- Nearly nine months after he was reported missing, a Centre County man's remains have been found, according to Centre County Coroner Scott A. Sayers.
Leon Bowman, 78, was first reported missing Dec. 24, 2024, after he was last seen near his mailbox along Howard Divide Road.
Sayers says the remains, later identified through dental records to be Bowman's, were found on his property on Sept. 9.
An autopsy examination was conducted, and authorities have ruled his death as undetermined but not considered suspicious, according to a press release.
Pennsylvania State Police Rockview is investigating.
