JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Jefferson County man is facing charges after he allegedly became irate and chased down a motorcyclist who had passed him and hit his bike.
Timothy Zimmerman, 64, of Brookville, is charged with running down two motorcyclists and hitting one in March, according to a criminal complaint. On March 23, officers were contacted about an accident involving a black pickup and a motorcycle. The motorcyclist reported that they had been driving on SR 322 when they got into a confrontation with Zimmerman.
At the scene of the crash, police noted that Zimmerman had fled and that the motorcycle that he allegedly struck had damage to its rear fender, rear tire and gear shifter. According to the complaint, they also noted that there was a 300-foot skid mark coming from the
