INDIANA, Pa. (WTAJ) -- A man and woman were killed Monday afternoon after being hit by a bus while crossing the street, Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman confirmed.

Christina Marie Perez, 39, and Ronald Lynn Mabon, 68, were at the intersection of Philadelphia Street and 7th Street in Indiana Borough Oct. 20, when they entered the crosswalk around 2 p.m.

According to Overman, both were hit by an IndiGO public transportation bus that was making a left turn from 7th Street onto Philadelphia Street.

Perez was pronounced dead at the scene, while Mabon succumbed to his injuries at the emergency room.
