Bengaluru: Karnataka BJP president B.Y. Vijayendra has said that coordination committees between the BJP and JD(S) will be formed soon after consultations with party leaders.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday after meeting Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy to extend Diwali greetings, Vijayendra said discussions were held on the current political situation in the state. “Within the next 8–10 days, names for the coordination committee will be finalised and sent to Kumaraswamy,” he said.
Vijayendra noted that Kumaraswamy had suggested forming two coordination panels, one for the Greater Bengaluru region and another for the rest of the state, given the upcoming elections to the Greater Bengaluru Authority.
