The New England Patriots are one of the hottest teams in the NFL currently, as they are riding a four-game win streak into Week 8. Things aren’t going as well for their former head coach, Bill Belichick , though.

After spending the 2024 season out of football, Belichick decided to make his first foray into the world of college football by accepting the North Carolina Tar Heels’ head coaching gig. While there was a lot of excitement surrounding Belichick’s arrival in Chapel Hill, the first few months of his tenure have been a complete disaster.

On Tuesday morning, Belichick finally got a win in what has been a season full of losses and off-field drama so far. The NFL announced that Belichick was among a group of 12 former coaches under consideration for the Pro Football Hall of Fame
