EDDYVILLE, Iowa —

An 18-year-old Iowa high school student faces several charges following an incident Oct. 7 during which authorities say he broke windows at his school and sprayed someone with a fire extinguisher.

Korbin Durbin, of Fremont, was allegedly causing a disturbance in an Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont High School classroom on the afternoon of Oct. 7. Authorities say a student left the room to avoid him and Durbin followed, allegedly throwing his watch and a shoe at the victim.

The student was taken to a room in an attempt to further avoid Durbin, who allegedly broke a door window to gain entry into the classroom.
