New Westminster police are asking for the public’s help identifying three suspects after a robbery in Moody Park last week.

The New Westminster Police Department says officers were called to help two men in the park’s lacrosse rink around 5:20 p.m.

The victims reported having been approached by a group of three young people.

“One of the youth punched the victim in the face before stealing cash from his wallet. Police searched the area for people matching the suspect descriptions, however no one could be located,” said a police statement Tuesday.

The three suspects are described as young men, approximately 18 years old. The first suspect stood approximately 5’11” tall, wearing a red sweatshirt. The second suspect was wearing blue jeans. The third suspect was wearing a dark, hooded sweat
