SCOTT COUNTY, Va. (WJHL) — Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin on Tuesday announced that VFP, Inc. is investing $35 million to expand its operations in Scott County and is expected to create 200 new jobs.
A news release from Gov. Youngkin's office said that VFP, Inc. is a producer of custom-designed enclosures used to protect critical infrastructure. The expansion will take place at VFP's Duffield manufacturing facility, coinciding with the company’s 60th anniversary.
Youngkin visited Duffield on Tuesday to make the announcement in person.
