MACON, Ga. — A Macon resident came out of an East Macon Kroger a bit wealthier .

According to a Georgia Lottery release, someone from Macon won $1 million off a $10 scratcher. The release stated that the ticket, a Triple Match scratcher, was purchased at the Kroger located at 660 North Avenue.

The release added that the winner claimed their prize on Oct. 20.

This is the second reported big-time lottery win in Macon within the past seven days. On Wednesday, a separate release said a Macon resident won a nearly $150,000 jackpot from the 50X The Money Quick Win Diggi Game on the Georgia Lottery's website.
