The iconic Fox crime drama “Prison Break” is getting a reboot.

Hulu has greenlighted the project, according to a Variety report. Set in the same world as the original series, the reboot will feature new characters. The official logline states, “An ex-soldier turned corrections officer (Emily Browning) takes a job at one of the deadliest prisons in America to prove just how far she’ll go for someone she loves.”

Paul Scheuring, who created “Prison Break,” will serve as an executive producer for the reboot. In addition to Browning, the cast includes Drake Rodger (Tommy), Lukas Gage (Jackson), Clayton Cardenas (Michael, a.k.a Ghost), JR Bourne (Junior), Georgie Flores (Andrea), and Myles Bullock (Darius, a.k.a Red).
