ROCKFORD, Ill. — Anderson Japanese Gardens is bringing back "The Path of Pumpkins" from October 18 through October 25, 2025. This event allows visitors to enjoy carved pumpkin displays by regional middle and high school students and vote for their favorites.
Guests will receive a voting card with admission and can vote for their preferred pumpkin displays. The top three schools will receive cash prizes, with winners announced on October 27 via the garden's social media.
Participating schools include Belvidere High School Art Club, Harlem High School Student Council, and Rockford Christian High School, among others. Admission is free for garden members, while non-members pay standard rates.
