SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Riverkeeper and the Wildland Cooperative are hosting a launch party this week to celebrate the release of the "For the River Beer."

Wildland Cooperative says the beer is a "clean and crisp lager to support a clean and crisp Spokane River."

The brewery says 10% of all proceeds of For The River Beer will be donated to Spokane Riverkeeper to support its mission of protecting and restoring the health of the Spokane River and its watershed through community advocacy, education, partnerships & legal action.

The launch party takes place on Thursday, Oct. 23, at Wildland from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
