PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland Police Bureau is still seeking evidence in the killing of Krystal Pendergraph, a woman found shot to death in her car earlier this month in a busy part of the Nob Hill neighborhood.
Despite the area where Pendergraph was found, police said Tuesday that their earlier calls for security video have gone largely unanswered.
The 39-year-old Pendergraph was found in her parked car on Saturday, Oct. 11, on Northwest Kearney Street between 22nd and 23rd avenues. Her family said that a good Samaritan called 911 after seeing the woman slumped over.
The county medical examiner confirmed that Pendergraph had been shot to death, ruling her death a homicide. In new information released Tuesday, PPB added that detectives don't think her death was a random act of viole
