WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Wichita man charged in a crash that killed a motorcyclist last week made his first appearance in court Tuesday.
Brian Adrian, 61, is charged with involuntary manslaughter while under the influence of drugs or alcohol in connection with a crash that killed 27-year-old Bryce Rowland.
Adrian also faces an alternative count of aggravated battery-DUI causing great bodily harm/disfigurement.
It happened a little after 7 p.m. Friday on Seneca Street, a few blocks south of MacArthur Road.
Police said Adrian was traveling north on Seneca and tried to turn left onto 42nd Street, striking Rowland, who was heading south on Seneca.
His bond was set at $200,000, and his next court appearance was set for 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 3.
