The Pittsburgh Steelers’ plan at wide receiver at the trade deadline has been revealed, or at least their tentative ideas for what they could do.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports the Steelers would like to add a wide receiver, but pointed mostly towards a speed receiver.
“The Steelers are, once again, in the market for a receiver, sources say,” Rapoport wrote . “Their offense has thrived by featuring multiple tight ends, but the addition of a speed threat to pair with DK Metcalf would help Aaron Rodgers and the offense.”
With Calvin Austin III, Roman Wilson, and Scotty Miller there, a speedy wide receiver would seem to be further down the list for a potential trade from the team.
