BARABOO, Wis. (WMTV) - Baraboo officials arrested a suspect wanted in connection to a Milwaukee homicide investigation on Tuesday, authorities reported.

According to the Baraboo Police Department, an officer received a tip from a person who said the suspect would be heading to Baraboo for medical services.

Baraboo police worked with the Milwaukee Police Department and verified that the suspect in the investigation was Walter Lorenzo Jones.

With the help of the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Team, the Baraboo Police Department came up a plan and arrested Jones.

Chief Justin Carloni thanked the departments who assisted in the investigation.
