A 19-year-old from Paris, Missouri, has been charged as an adult in connection to a 2023 Audrain County homicide that he was connected to when he was 17.

Charles Armour was charged this week as an adult in Audrain County with first-degree murder, first-degree robbery and two counts of armed criminal action, according to court documents.

Armour is charged alongside Christopher Brickey in connection to the shooting death of 23-year-old Matthew Stewart of Vandalia on Nov. 30, 2023.

Brickey faces charges of first-degree murder and armed criminal action.

Court documents allege that Armour and Brickey shot Stewart multiple times on Audrain Road 556. Authorities said Stewart was found alongside the road with multiple gunshot wounds, according to previous KOMU 8 reporting .
