The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration released their annual winter weather outlook.

The three-month outlook shows Cincinnati sitting in the sit in the "equal chances" range, meaning there is an equal chance of below normal, normal and above normal temperatures. Advertisement

Meanwhile, the precipitation outlook predicts wetter than normal conditions across the northern U.S., which includes all of the Greater Cincinnati area.

This is in part because of a La Nina that is expected to continue through the 2025-26 winter season, according to NOAA and the Climate Prediction Center.

According to the NOAA, current guidance suggests a weak and short duration La Nina while still favoring cooler and weather conditions for the northern Plains.
