The Minnesota Vikings (3-3) travel to southern California for Thursday Night Football in Week 8 to face the Los Angeles Chargers (4-3) at SoFi Stadium. After another erratic performance from Carson Wentz, the Vikings hoped second-year quarterback J.J. McCarthy would be ready to resume the starting signal-caller role, but the latest reports out of Minnesota shed some doubt on that possiblity.
