Law enforcement officials say a series of troubling photographs prompted action in the case of 27-year-old Taylor Knoop.

The first image shows Knoop’s young daughter asleep on a couch, a beer bottle placed beside her. Investigators say a second image shows the same child sleeping with a gun resting on her body, a scene they believe was staged.

A third photograph features a different child holding what appears to be a bag of marijuana, according to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office. Knoop is also visible, crouched nearby and seemingly reaching toward the bag.
