Tom Hanks went incognito and rode the subway alongside fellow train commuters in New York City on Tuesday.

The “Forrest Gump” star, 69, was spotted taking the 6 line through the Big Apple. 12

While Hanks sported a green jacket, a green knitted beanie, black jeans and boots for his journey, the Hollywood superstar also made sure to keep a super-low profile by hiding his face behind a white protective mask.

At one point, the Oscar winner reportedly dropped the bag he was clutching close to his chest as he noticed he had almost missed his subway stop.

But this wouldn’t be the first time Hanks was spotted riding the subway in recent weeks. The “You’ve Got Mail” star previously surprised bystanders on the Pelham Packer earlier this month. 12
