Northbound Interstate 25 is completely closed in Loveland following a crash the afternoon of Oct. 21.

All northbound lanes of I-25 closed just after 2 p.m. for a crash investigation, according to a social media post from Colorado State Patrol .

The interstate is closed at milepost 258, or between the Eisenhower Boulevard/U.S. Highway 34 and Crossroads Boulevard exits, Loveland police said in a Facebook post .

Loveland police warned that "significant delays should be expected." Colorado State Patrol advised drivers to take alternate routes.

Colorado State Patrol is investigating the crash. Investigators have not provided any additional information about the crash or an estimated time of the road reopening.
