SPOKANE, Wash. — The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) says they made an online tool for everyone to see where measles exposures have occurred in the state.

DOH says the new tool is called the Measles Exposure Location Tracker . The tool focuses on public places where a person with measles was recently. It can also inform people if they are at risk for exposure.

The last exposure location was at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SeaTac).

Measles is a highly contagious airborne disease that can live in the air or on surfaces for up to two hours and can have serious life-threatening complications.
